What are leveling clips and wedges?

Leveling clips and wedges work together as a tile leveling system that ensures a perfectly flat and aligned tile surface. The clips are placed under and between the tiles, while the wedge is inserted and tightened to pull the tiles to the same level. This prevents lippage and creates a smooth, even finish. The system is suitable for both wall and floor tiles, including standard and large-format tiles.

How do you use leveling clips and wedges?

Start by applying sufficient adhesive and placing the first tile perfectly level. Insert one or more clips under the tile edges and gently tap the tile into place. Position the next tile onto the base of the clip so both tiles align properly.

Insert the wedge into the clip and use a leveling pliers to tighten it until the tiles are level. Leave the wedges in place while the adhesive cures. Once the adhesive has nearly hardened, remove the clips by striking them in the direction of the joint with a rubber mallet or your foot.

The wedges and leveling pliers are reusable for future projects.
