What are XL tile leveling clips?

XL tile leveling clips are designed for leveling thick tiles, from small to large formats, such as terrace tiles and thicker ceramic floor tiles. The extra-high clip allows heavy tiles to be installed perfectly level and aligned. XL clips are an essential part of the XL leveling system, ensuring a smooth and professional finish, even in demanding applications.

How do you use XL tile leveling clips?

Start by applying sufficient adhesive and placing the first tile perfectly level. Insert one or more tile leveling clips under the tile edges and gently tap the tile into place. Position the next tile onto the base of the leveling clip so both tiles align correctly.

Insert the wedge into the opening of the clip and use leveling pliers to apply enough pressure until the tiles are level. Leave the wedges in place while the adhesive cures. Once the adhesive has nearly hardened, remove the clip by breaking it in the direction of the joint using a rubber mallet or your foot.

The wedges and leveling pliers are reusable for future projects.

For which tiling projects are XL tile leveling clips suitable?

XL tile leveling clips are used for projects with tile thicknesses between 15 and 30 mm. Thanks to their robust design, they are ideal for outdoor applications, large living areas, and commercial projects. Wherever thick and heavy tiles need to be installed perfectly level, XL clips provide the necessary strength and stability.

What are the benefits of XL tile leveling clips?

XL tile leveling clips provide extra stability and strength when installing thick and heavy tiles. They prevent lippage and ensure a flat, professional finish with the desired joint width.

In addition, they allow you to work faster, with greater precision and fewer adjustments during installation.
